Experienced Princess cruisers (especially those that use TAs)

Opinion needed. The 11-30-08 sailing of Emerald Princess is currently listed on Princess' site as $899 pp for an inside category L or M stateroom. Category J is $949 pp. A TA e-mailed me saying they could give us a Category J stateroom for $805 pp, with all taxes and fees included. Is this a very good deal from a TA, or should I hold out for a better price?

Just make sure to check with the TA that offered you that price that if the pricing goes down closer to sailing, that you will be able to get the price drop. Most TA's do accomodate for this, but I would just double check to make sure since the sailing is so far in the future.

Seems like Princess doesn't have a lot of big sales - last year, I was able to book an inside stateroom on Carnival Glory and get a free upgrade to a porthole room - does Princess ever run sales like that, or is that just because Carnival is a "discount" line?
