San Diego Mission

We have about a day and 1/4 in San Diego and would love to visit the Mission. Could someone please tell us where it is from the pier and are there buses etc that go there or will we need a taxi? We've seen the zoo and are not sure what to do with our extra time (Don't drink or sun worship:)) Thanks so much!

I would take the San Diego Trolley - there is a stop near the cruise terminal - you would take the "Blue line" to Old Town (end of the line) and transfer to the "Green Line" and get off at the stop after Qualcomm Stadium.
