Has anyone purchased a diamond in Grand Cayman?

Hey I know that St Thomas and St Marten have more jewelry stores, but we are going to Grand Cayman at the end of November on the Conquest and I would like to buy a ring. Has anyone purchased a ring in Grand Cayman? What store did you buy it from? Did you have any problems? I have purchased many rings before and have had stones fall out of all of them. I purchased those in St Thomas and St Marten. I bought them from a ship recommended store too. I could have tried to return them but didn't think it was worth the hassle. I was curious if any other jewelry lovers had luck in Grand Cayman.

I can't imagine things being less expensive in Grand Cayman (except the discount of 15/5 you get on Rolex watches at Kirks) ... because everything is expensive in Grand Cayman.

The overhead is ridiculous.

Best to try at St Thomas at AH Rise or Diamonds International but ONLY if you know your stuff.

Know the quality of stone you want AND the prices back in the States!!!
