Cab Fare FLL to Port Everglades...Search not helping...

I've tried to search for this, but I clearly don't know how to use the search function...dd15 calls me a 'computer spazz'...what would be the approximate cab fare from FLL airport to Port Everglades for 2 people, and is this the best way to do it?

We just did this in Sept and the cost was $17 plus tip. I like this way better then transfers because we can leave the airport as soon as we get our luggage.

Ouch, most of the time the fare is only around $12. Were you stuck in traffic beachlover?

A little coming out of the airport but not to bad. Entering Port Everglades it did take a few min. because we had forgotton to sign pass ports. Had to find a pen a sign, not a big deal.

Unlike when your going to the Port of Miami from MIA (flat rate), the taxis are metered from FLL to Port Everglades. The minimum fare for any pickup at the airport is $10. Doesn't matter if your going from terminal 1 to terminal 2, it's still $10. If there's a long line to get into the port the meters still ticking away hence the difference in price cruisers pay.
