tricializ Posted October 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2007 We are going on the 1/12 Magic 7 day cruise and wondering what the weather might be like. I look at averages etc. but wondering in "real life" what it is like; what you were comfortable wearing, if you were able to get some sun etc. This is important as I think of excursions. Thanks so much. Tricia

Jeanne B Posted October 25, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2007 Our first cruise was a Western cruise in mid-Jan 05 on NCL and the weather wasn't great the first few days and we missed Grand Cayman because of rough seas but the last half was very nice, sunny and hot...until we got back to Miami and Florida was having the coldest weather they'd had in 2 years.:( Weather is pretty hit or miss in January so I would plan for a mix of weather just to be safe. Cozumel should be plenty hot as well as Grand Cayman as long as the seas aren't too rough to tender, CC and Key West are the two that are more likely to be hit or miss. Magic3forme Posted October 25, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2007 We did a 4 day cruise in Feb 05, ( first week) The weather in the Bahamas was warm, but the water temp was very cold. The water was even colder at Castaway Cay. ( I have heard the water temp can vary month to month). We were just there and the water was warm, but it wasnt bath water temp.
