MrHydro Posted October 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2007 We will be on your lovely island again this December ( this will be my 4th visit) and as much as I have enjoyed the normal tourist stops (4 times is enough). I’m looking for a more down to earth visit. My first visit I was blessed with a taxi driver who introduced us to his family (his wife made a great lunch) some of his friends, a couple local watering holes and just some great local folks. Still want to stop and see the monkeys at the wildlife reserve (not been there yet) and buy some pottery but want to visit more as a local than a tourist any suggestions? A big reason we cruse in the Caribbean is we enjoy the local folks, customs and stories from the past. Thanks for any help. Eric
