Majesty Question

We are on the Majesty 12/1 and want to know if there are formal nights since this is free style dining? Thanks for you help:cool: :cool:

Well, it has been a few years since I was on the Majesty, but I do remember a formal night. I think it was the night of the Captain's party.

You will be able to dress up if you wish, but it will be totally optional. Probably most passengers will not wear anything formal any night.

Just off the Majesty about three weeks ago. There was a formal night, but honestly, it did not look like that many people were formal. Those that were tended to dine in the smaller of the two dining rooms. I concur with the previous poster that this was on Monday night when they served lobster. But it seemed there were several nights when people were dressed up as a lot of people have their portraits taken. So if you want to dress up you certainly can. We saw the whole range--formal, semi formal, casual. Soem folks have complained about cut off jeans etc. but frankly, I didn't observe this, but then again, it probably would not bother me. Here's the great thing--do what you want to do. If you want to go formal, then do it and ahve a blast. If that's not for you, stay casual. You will fit in no matter what. By the way, we had a FABULOUS time.:D

Thanks for the info..we are not really formal people so we will probably not dress up. Jeans don't bother me either but I will not be that informal..Thanks again and we plan on having a wonderful time. ;) ;)
