krisj Posted October 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2007 Well, it has been a few years since I was on the Majesty, but I do remember a formal night. I think it was the night of the Captain's party.
salty dingo Posted October 24, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2007 You will be able to dress up if you wish, but it will be totally optional. Probably most passengers will not wear anything formal any night.

yoyocruiser Posted October 24, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2007 Just off the Majesty about three weeks ago. There was a formal night, but honestly, it did not look like that many people were formal. Those that were tended to dine in the smaller of the two dining rooms. I concur with the previous poster that this was on Monday night when they served lobster. But it seemed there were several nights when people were dressed up as a lot of people have their portraits taken. So if you want to dress up you certainly can. We saw the whole range--formal, semi formal, casual. Soem folks have complained about cut off jeans etc. but frankly, I didn't observe this, but then again, it probably would not bother me. Here's the great thing--do what you want to do. If you want to go formal, then do it and ahve a blast. If that's not for you, stay casual. You will fit in no matter what. By the way, we had a FABULOUS time.:D
