dawn penthouse

leaving on the dawn tomorrow out of ny - staying in a penthouse cabin - someone told me when i arrive at ny pier, i go upstairs to a vip section for check in - last year i had regular cabin and stayed downstairs so i am not sure about this one. does anyone know if this information is correct.

its only a 2 day cruise and i am assuming i have to take my luggage on board myself but was just curious if i go to a different section on pier
