bondscruisegal Posted October 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2007 I want to visit a coffee plantation while in Kona, but since we're in Kona on a Sunday, I'm having a hard time finding a coffee plantation that is open for tours. Does anyone know of any coffee plantation that might have tours on Sunday. Thanks.
NeoJava Posted October 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2007 Try Bay View Farms about 30-45 min south of Kailua Kona. http://www.bayviewfarmcoffees.com/ The ESTATE EXTRA FANCY Coffee is killer and the Kona Peaberry is pretty good too. They have daily tours of their factory and since it's coffee season right now you will be able to see the operation in full swing. Iwi does a great tour of the facilities.
