Overnight in Civitavecchia

Hi Guys,

 

With apologies if this has been asked a dozen times before (couldn't find anything on a search), we are booked on the Greek Islands cruise on the Splendor next year.

 

Two thoughts:

 

1) What's open on the ship ovenight? I guess that the casino and shops are all closed?

 

2) On the basis that we'll have done Rome either pre or post cruise, what can any recomend for the day in port (except drinking beer in the sun!:) ).

On our last cruise, some of the staff went to a nearby Aqua park. They had a great day. It's a short taxi ride.
