Question about taxis

Recommended Posts

We have never been to St. Lucia and would like to visit a few of the hotels that we may stay at sometime when we return. We wanted and try to set up a private tour but waited to long and now most things are booked so we are thinking we will take a taxi.

I assume like in any port there are a ton of taxi's waiting - are rates to be negotiated or are they flat published rates. Any safety concerns?

Any other suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
