Macwoman Posted November 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2007 My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary next year. I want to do the "family thing" and take a cruise in the summer. Never been on princess but have cruised on Carnival and Rccl before. Is the suites worth it on Princess. We like the extra room and will put the kiddies in their own cabin. We liked the concierge loung and open bar times on rccl, but wondered how things work with Princess. Any info would be helpful. We are thinking the Caribbean Princess our of NY. thanks Macwoman
Toto2Kansas Posted November 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2007 The best site for suite perks listed is from one of our members here on Cruise Critic. Have a look: http://www.cruisingthecaribbeanprincess.com/perksA.html
Richard Stein Posted November 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2007 We were in a Penthouse suite on the Crown out of NY recently and there is no concierge lounge on Princess and you get one mini bar set up. RCCL and Carnival both run ships out of NY or NJ ports. Parking in Bayonne is cheaper than Red Hook. You also get more benefits as a repeater.
