Frequent Floater Posted November 6, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted November 6, 2007 Yes, but how is it made? marinated? Would love to try it myself at home.:) It looked like they just opened a coconut and cut it into several pieces, squeezed fresh lime right on it and then a few drops of hot sauce (not salsa) sprinkled all over it. I have tried several times but still not the same. Never did let the lime sit for any length of time, maybe that is the trick. Oh and of course the brand of hot sauce they use could be it too.. Oh no now I think I have it, I didn't have that ice cold cerveza, the ocean backdrop sitting under the palapa =) with it either here at home
Frequent Floater Posted November 6, 2007 Author #7 Share Posted November 6, 2007 My DH just reminded me (gee how could I foget that part) that we ordered a poco loco drink where they make a drink right in the fresh coconut using the milk and add other "stuff". Once you finish the drink they take that coconut and make the snack.
