has any one done the reggatta EXCURSION ON PRINCESS WAS IT WORTH THE MONEY? IS IT POSSIBLE TO BOOK WITHOUT GOING THRU PRINCESS

Are you referring to the '12 Metre Challenge'?

 

Their website has contact information, but I believe that they don't do cruiser bookings other than thru the cruise lines.

 

That said, it's an awesome experience. The ride, of course, depends entirely on the winds on the day that you sail, but even on a very calm day, we had a great ride last yeat.

This is quite possibly the best excursion we have ever done. It is worth every penny!

They will only accept cruise bookings through the ship. More and more tour operators are moving toward this tactic.
