holiday shore excursions for children

We are cruising on Carnival Holiday in December and will be visiting the ports of Calica and Cozumel. What are the best shore excursion for children?? We have a 4 year old!!

I think there is a "submarine" excursion in Cozumel. If the kid isn't freaked out by enclosed spaces, that might be a thought. Or just one of the beach trips.

A 4 year old may enjoy a trip to Chankanaab Park in Cozumel. It is about a $12 taxi ride one way for a family of four. There is an entrance fee of $16 for adults (not sure the price for children) but you can get a small discount coupon off the internet.

 

They have a small playground, a pool and sand to play in. Their sand beach does not go all the way to the water so there won't be any "waves" to sit and play in.

 

And of course you can come and go at your leisure.

 

Cozumel is very tourist friendly, so visiting with your family safely is not a problem. Food and water at these resorts are safe as well.

We took our children, ages 13, 11, 8 and 2, to Xcaret. It was a wonderful day, perfect for all the age groups, even adults! Only down side is the day is just too short.

You might want to consider Paradise Beach in Cozumel.
