My mother just called from the Radiance of the Seas, which is currently docked in Acapulco. She said the downtown area is a blaze with fire. They are watching it from the ship. As of right now, it's about 2 blocks from were they are docked.

She said the flames are leaping from building to building. I've checked msnbc, cnn, and foxnews but nothing is being reported. They are set to be there until 9pm local time.

I am in the cruise terminal and yes you can see the smoke, but, it's a furniture store located about 12 blocks from the cruise terminal. In front of the Social Security Hospital on the Cuahtemoc Avenue and Acapulco is not burning, fires happen, I doubt it will make the Mexican national news let alone the Internationalnews and only make the local news.
