Mellowtraveler Posted November 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2007 We are sailing to Alaska from Seattle on 8-15-08. Wanted to make reservations at the specialty restaurant. Can anyone tell me what nights are normally casual dress so we can book our reservations early? We don't want to miss the informal-formal nights in the main dining room. Thank you. DaveFr Posted November 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2007 Marty, There should be three casual nights on your cruise. The first and last nights are always casual. The other casual night will probably be on the fourth or fifth night. The first night of the cruise is a fantastic night to go to the specialty restaurant. It is not very full and you get great food and service.

Mellowtraveler Posted November 12, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted November 12, 2007 Does anyone know if the cost for specialty dining is $30 or is it more? Thank you.
kruznkanuk Posted November 12, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2007 Hi, Mellowtraveler, Just a suggestion for you is that you might want to post questions about specific cruises on the roll call for that cruise.. it is easy to set up and you will get to know the folks on your cruise before you set foot on the ship! But maybe you already are on there?.. Have a great trip!
DaveFr Posted November 12, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2007 Does anyone know if the cost for specialty dining is $30 or is it more?Thank you. It's $30 pp for the four course menu. It's about $62 pp for the wine pairing menu, including the 15% gratuity on the wine. Hope this helps.
