Husker Cruzer Posted November 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2007 I haven't seen anyone mention or suggest staying at the Gallery One - Double tree in FLL. We are traveling with our 3 adult children during spring break 2008 and thought about staying there after the cruise for one night in their 2 bedroom suite. Looked like it might be in an area with things close by to do but don't know for sure. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
aarep Posted November 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2007 We have stayed here on 4 different occasions. Most recently this past May post cruise. It is a great hotel and newly renovated. Rooms are really nice. Water Taxi stops at back door of hotel. Nice area there to watch the yachts go by. Also next door to the Galleria Mall. The mall has a fabulous food court and also some nice restaurants. About 2 or 3 blocks across bridge to the beach. Also has a nice pool. I would highly recommend it. BlueHerons Posted November 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2007 Seasons 52 restaurant is excellent and The Blue Martini is a great place to go for live music. Both are in The Gallaria.
Lisas mom Posted November 12, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2007 We stayed there on October 20 before our Princess Cruise. Loved the hotel. We had a one bedroom suite with kitchen, living room and bedroom. Very spacious and clean. Restaurant in the hotel was pretty good as well.
