barvn Posted November 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Can anyone tell me how to post pictures that are stored on my computer?
parrotthead Posted November 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Yes. Just post a response then scroll down and click "Manage Attachments" That will let you 'browse' then just click and attach. Easy as one-two-three. Here's a pic of the Alaskan Sunrise I took in July 2006.
mariemorgan Posted November 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2007 You need to create an online picture service account and upload your pictures to it. Here are some: http://www.webshots.com http://www.photobucket.com http://www.shutterfly.com http://www.flicker.com Once they are uploaded you will then be provided w/ links that you can post here. parrotthead Posted November 14, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 14, 2007 I (personally) like Photobucket. It is real user friendly. OP said her pics were on her computer, so thats the info I gave. Doing it like this the pic shows up in a thumbnail and therefore is smallish, but, If you click the thumbnail the pic will enlarge. Of course she could copy them to a website and post them that way also. Good luck OP. We look foward to seeing your pics, no matter how you decide to post them! :)

nrose6 Posted November 14, 2007 #8 Share Posted November 14, 2007 if you go to tinypic.com and upload your picture there, it will give you a web address to post here, and that will link us to the picture. tinypic is the easiest for uploading in my opinion
SATXLady Posted November 14, 2007 #9 Share Posted November 14, 2007 I don't know what I am doing wrong. I keep getting an error UPLOAD File Error Did you follow the size specs -- I think that's why I don't try to do the direct upload. For example, for a jpg file, max filesize is 97.7KB, W 620 H 280 pixels. Most of my jpgs are about 1MB each so I'd have to resize to do the direct upload. Easier to post to webshots. Wennfred Posted November 14, 2007 #12 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Every ISP (internet service provider) like Cox Cable, Dimension, Time Warner etc. has WebSpace you can access. Go to your Online ISP and read up on how to access your WebSpace. Use this webspace to upload photos to and then copy paste that photo onto this Text box. If the copy/paste does not work you can alway insert the URL of where that JPG is located into these brackets This is one of the cool Howling Monkeys of Belize
