marysb Posted November 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Do all the companies use the head lamps? I see cave-tubing.com does from it's pictures on the website? Does Major Tom? Are they really necessary? Thanks
neighbour_lady Posted November 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2007 Major Tom gave out both head lamps and some water proof flash lights to our group. Yes you'll need them. At one point deep in the cave he asked everyone to turn off the lights just to see how really dark it truly was.....very very cool. Definitely do this, you'll love it!! Does Major Tom?Are they really necessary? Thanks I have used both headlamps as well as the light that attaches to your floatation device that Major Tom uses.... I prefer the attached as felt had better control of what I wanted to look at.....DARKNESS is imminent w/out those little beauties. It is an experience you will not want to miss nor will you regret ! Rare shark&minnow Posted November 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2007 My headlamp didn't work once we got to the caves! I tried to hang on to my husband. But really it was alright since everyone else had one and you do move through the cave and back to the sunshine.
