Ft Lauderdale Flights

We are sailing on the Atlantica in December. I am currently searching for flights and was wondering if a return flight at 9.50 am from FLL is too early to book. I see from previous reviews that you can get off the ship at 8.00 am and that the airport is only 5 -10 minutes from the port but just wanted some more info. Thanks

I wouldn't do it, just way too much chance of a missed flight. If you are flying to Newark there should be several airlines flying from FLL.

You wouldn't be able to make it; the time required at the airport to go through security, etc. will require at least an hour or more. Better to book a later flight and end your holiday with no stress.

Thanks that's what I thought, but all the chaper flights to PHL seem to leave FLL early in the morning or late at night and I was trying to avoid hanging around the airport with 2 small boys all day. Oh well, back to the flight search!!
