Wonder What They Are Looking At?

Someone was taken off by medical chopper. I think the chopper came from Rockhampton so the ship diverted to meet it. There are a few stories doing the rounds onboard - one is that someone fell down the stairs and cut their head open and the other is that someone was bitten by a sea snake in Vanuatu and got sick. I guess we'll find out soon enough (it's probably going to be neither :)).

Probably old news now, but a person was airlifted from the ship to Gladstone due to a stroke, the reason the Sun was 4 hours late leaving and our cruise only had 3 hours in Noumea, not that I am complaining about that:D

I heard from the nurses on the PS cruise in 2005 that a lot of unwell people with chronic medical condition go cruising, they said that diabetic complication and chest pain were almost a daily occurance as was falls and sea sickness. thats what they said anyway. when I did a tour of the clinic on the ship it looked pretty quiet to me. just thought I would mention it, seen we were discussing medical emergency's.
