Kid-friendly activities in St. Lucia?

We'll be in St. Lucia on the Carnival Miracle in early December (2007) and the ship leaves at 2:00pm, so we don't have a lot of time.

 

Does anyone have any activities or sightseeing ideas that could be accomplished in less than 4 hours and that might be fun for a 2 year old?

 

We'd love to see some of the scenery of the island, but have been discouraged in the idea of renting a car, and most of the tours not booked through the ship seem like they are geared to all-day.
