what type of salads do they serve in the dining room and in other places to

Here's a link to all the different types of salads they serve at dinner.

They also serve caesar salad with or without chicken at the pizza station on the lido deck.

If your ship has a supper club, the salads in there are:

Caeser, Spinach and mushroom and tossed garden salad

Here's the salads on the room service menu.

Tossed Garden Salad (Not listed on the Carnival Freedom menu)

  • Mixed Greens Garnished with Tomato, Cucumber, Radish and Red Onions
    • Served with choice of Ranch, Thousand Island, Blue Cheese or Fat Free Honey Mustard

[*]24: Caesar Salad with Parmesan Cheese and Herb Croutons

[*]25: Same Caesar Salad with Freshly Grilled Chicken Breast

The Caeser Salad is really good and you can get it everynight in the dining room and also from room service.

I should know-I have one everynight at dinner-i love Carnival's Caeser Salad.

Ohhhh wasn't it the best!!! I absolutely love their Caeser salad. I had it every night for dinner as well, at the supper club and for an afternoon snack up on the Lido. I just loved it. That dressing was fabulous.

I wish I had or could figure out the recipe for the dressing. Not in the Carnival cookbook I have. Course my cookbook is almost 10 yrs old so maybe they have an updated version and it is in there.

Also know that the quality of the parmasean cheese effects the taste of the salad. Learned that from one of my first jobs many many moons ago when I worked in a specialty cheese shop.

The newer ships [and maybe the older ones too] have an extensive salad bar in the buffet. Plus the Caesar at the pizza counter and it is always available at dinner in the dining room. As is a steak and a baked potato, even if not shown on the menu. I think shrimp cocktail is another always item.

Ohhh absolutely....the best kind is Parmigiano-Reggiano. That's the kind that I buy.

We loved the Chicken Caesar from the Pizzaria for our late afternoon snack....that is until we discovered the Sushi Bar! Mmmmmmmmm!

I wish I were on a cruise right now!

the sushi bar....another favorite!!! Every night that they had it, hubby and I were there, enjoying it with a before dinner cocktail.

The food on Carnival is really excellent. :D
