hwcouple Posted November 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2007 will be on the 12-8 SUN and was wondering if anyone knows what kind of entertainment to expect in the showroom or lounges. have not seen anything in their information stuff, thanks
dispachcops Posted November 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2007 For the entertainment, you will have the Jean Ann Ryan and Co. doing 2 major productions (really good, I have seen them before), one is called Cirque Pan, and the other one is Hey Mr Producer. The rest of the entertainment is contracted for a shorter time, and usually includes comedians, magicians, and singers. I have also seen a few posts that says that there is a really good piano bar musician/singer that you can listen to in the piano bar. They also do a "Not so Newlywed Game" and a few others that tend to be a bit PG-13 rated.
fin Posted November 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2007 Their talent show produced a string of acts which were astoundingly professional.
LTC Posted November 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2007 Was on the Sun Nov.3-10. Three Jean Ann Ryan productions,"Que Noche", "Hey Mr. Producer" and "Cirque Pan". Wes Epae did vocal impressions, Ted Holum was the comedian and J.P. Parent did comedy and magic. The musical entertainment was provided by Greg Guest,(Las Ramblas), Selwyn Wright (Windjammer) and Christian Gagner (Atrium). The bands were Roots Link,Prizm, and Brothers & Friends. This was a jazz cruise and some of the venues were open to passengers that weren't with this group; so there was jazz in the afternoon and evenings. (It was excellent). There were also a Sailaway Party and BBQ, 50's and 60's Sock Hop, Guest Talent Show, Friendly Fued, Crew Talent Show and a Caribbean Deck Party. Enjoy your cruise! Globaliser Posted November 27, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 27, 2007 Selwyn Wright (Windjammer)Highly recommended. He was on the jazz cruise last year (2006) as well, and those of our group of friends who were on last year universally whooped with glee when we discovered that he was on board this year too.
