elgato2 Posted November 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2007 We are leaving in less than two weeks (YEAH!!) on the Miracle.. Do the balcony doors slide open or swing open? Most balconies we've had are sliders but I seem to recall one (can't remember which) had a door that swung on hinges. We have an aft wrap this time and I just know I will want to leave the door open sometimes. Thanks
NeptunesGoddess Posted November 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2007 We just got off the Spirit and were on the Pride in January. Both times we had an aft wrap balcony and both doors were the hinge type that swung open. We used a bungee cord to keep them open when we wanted. Happy Sailing. Rare silentbob007 Posted November 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2007 I'm not sure that any balcony on Carnival has a sliding door ....
wannacruisemore Posted November 20, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2007 When we were on the spirit, the door swung open and we discovered a dinner knife would hold it open perfectly. Just put it in the automatic closer at the top of the door!!:)
Thirsty Cruiser Posted November 20, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 20, 2007 On the Miracle, we just used the wedge that the cabin steward left in the room to hold the cabin door open while cleaning.
