Legend cabins behind elevators

Has anyone had experience with the aft cabins behind the elevators- is there a noise problem?

Cabins, 8235/37, 7299, 7301,6279,5241/43???

 

I am interested in the Legend or similar class.

The 9A on this class of ship is highly sought after. You will not hear noise from the elevator at all once you are in your cabin with the door closed.

Serene - do you have any pics of a 9A?? We have one booked on the Legend for New Year's cruise next year. Are we going to like it? Does the balcony have chaise lounges or just chairs?

Just chairs- but you can always ask the cabin steward for a lounge chair.

Do you spend lots of time in the cabin? or the balcony? if you could book a cabin with a super balcony I would book 7258 Look at the deck plans at those balconies. - yes they are that long.

The side cabins are handi capped cabins. the cabin on deck 6 hold 4- dont book it unless you have 4 people as they could move you.

We spend a lot of time on our balcony - so I am always looking for cabins with a bit extra balcony space. Thanks for the pics.

Serene, you silly boy, of course we are going to LOVE the cruise, I meant the cabin :p

 

Unfortunately, cabin 7258 was already booked, but 7303 isn't. But, my TA told me 7303 was handicapped and if someone needed it, Carnival would bump us - and not nececarily to another extended balcony. We love our balcony and spend a lot of time out there. So, rather than accept the possibility of getting moved to a regular balcony, we booked the 9A (7299) Glad to know we can ask our room steward for a lounger.
