Is the Grand Buffet the only one on the cruise

The last time I cruised Carnival (4-5 years ago) there were 4-5 midnight buffets. Did they stop those and have only have the Gala buffet? We are going on a cruise next month and my bf is very sad to hear they may not have them most nights.

On my last cruise (which was 5 nights), there were 2 midnight buffets. The Grand Gala Buffet and the Mexican Buffet. Even on nights when there wasn't a "buffet", there was always food available late at night. Pizza obviously and the "late night bistro" and of course the ice cream machine is always on. You can always order room service if you're still hungry.

The thought of all the food on the cruise makes me exhausted, LOL. I can't wait for it but I feel like I'm going to be overwhelmed! Like the post above says, I'm sure your boyfriend won't have any problem finding something to munch on late at night if there isn't a buffet!

They serve food at the Lido buffet every nite at about 11:30. They only have one Gala Buffet with the carvings and big to do, but food is served every nite.

 

Is Gourmet Buffet, the Mother of all Oxymoron's??:D

In all the cruises we have been on, they have never had 5 buffets at night. We have been to the Gala and to be honest, the food wasn't anything great to brag about. It's made more for looks and after everyone has been breathing and touching it, who wants to eat it anyway. I know they had the mexican buffet on several. You can always get pizza or room service. Tell him don't worry, you won't go hungry! I do wish they would offer a late nite breakfast buffet on occasion. After a night of drinking and partying, sometime having breakfast taste great!
