thejuliars Posted November 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2007 Brimstone Hill and Romney Manor: I found a listing of posted cab fares to various points from Basseterre. We'll be in St Kitts on Cruise ship Dec 9, and are interested in seeing these two places. I don't imagine we'll spend a lot of time at Romney Manor, but don't know how long, nor do I know how much time we'll want to spend at Brimstone Fortress. So my thought is to just take a cab to Caribelle Batik, and then take another one to Brimstone Fortress. Does that make sense? I know there will be plenty of cabs at the cruise ship dock, but will there be any "hanging around" at either of those places? Or must we take a tour. Listed under taxi tours are tour to Caribelle Batik (max 1.5 hrs) at $40 for 1-4 persons, and one to Brimstone Hill (max 2 hours) at $50 for 1-4 persons} Have you heard of any cab drivers combining the 2, and what would be a reasonable fee to expect to pay for that? Thanks for your help
nashford Posted November 30, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2007 there are lots of taxi drivers at port zante who would be willing to give you a island tour and would be willing to work with you and let you spend more time at brimstone hill.
