Change to Dawn Schedule?

Just noticed that the Pacific Dawn is showing as anchored off the Isle of Pines, schedule shows she should be at Dravuni Island. I did notice that she was still in Noumea last night at around 8.30. Wonder what happened?

I just checked the cruise details. I don't think they're due at Isle of Pines until next Tuesday 4th December.

I know that but the cruise cam shows them at Isle of Pines. They didn't leave Noumea until late last night.

They're actually supposed to be at sea today aren't they? Dravuni tomorrow:confused: .

Hi Karen,

Yes they are but no they're not, pretty picture of Isle of Pines. The delay last night must have meant they had to change itinery.

Wonder what happened, it appears they were late arriving in Noumea as well.

I've had an email from my friend sharon2539 who is on the cruise now, she said;

"We are delayed in Noumea until 11:30 tonight as there is a cyclone or pressure system or something moving in our direction. We are going to Isle of pines instead of Dravuni and will figure the rest out later. Will get it all in i think, just different order so no major drama i think."

She's having a great time as well!

Hi Karen

It's our postcode, an easy number to remember. Sharon and I are going away together in April on the Dawn with a heap of others so it'll be good as she'll know the ropes. She also said in her email she thinks anytime dining is great.

Jen, haven't told anyone.

:D My SIL was told (by some other passanger) that we were going to hit a cyclone coming back to Sydney and it was called "cyclone fanny":p. She believed it  and the warning went around the ship and kids club (like chinese whispers).:D

I see from the crusie cam that the Pacific Dawn is currently on route to Suva with no sign of any cyclone, bright sunny day in the south Pacific. Good new for all those currently at sea

Well, when they get to Suva they'll think they've just missed it (the cyclone) coz Suva looks a bit like it's been hit by one:) .

Web cam shows them at Isle if Pines today? Would they go there twice?

They were at Isle of Pines after Noumea when they did the itinerary change.

Hi Don, the web cam has me a bit confused because that does not look like any part of the Isle of Pines that I know.

I know the schedule was changed early in the cruise

It looks more like the mainland of NC, maybe Emerald Bay or Poum.???

kind regards, Lorraine
