Special Xmas or Pirate dress up nights?

Going on the Legend Sunday. Should we bring any special Christmas, pirate or other costumes? Not sure if they have special seasonal events.

Disney has the pirate night, never heard of any special dress up nights on Carnival.

Was on the Glory last year for Christmas - no special dress-up for Christmas day required.

We enjoyed Pirate night on DVC Wonder...no such critter on the Carnival Legend (see 'ya there:D ) apparently not much in the way of a sail away party either...

However, since our 1st ever Carnival cruise priced out 2/3 less than the comparable DVC one, we'll do our best to grin & bear it.;)

Back to the OP, I'm going on the Conquest this Sunday. My first cruise.

Nobody told me about a "pirate" night.

 

THere BETTER not be or I WILL BE PISSED. Do you know how embarassed I'd be if I showed up to dinner and there was ANOTHER PIRATE there?
