How Early Can You Board the Ship???

We are staying at the Residence Inn @ Port Canaveral for 2 days prior to our 4 night Wonder cruise on January 27th. Since we will be right there, I am curious as to how early we are able to board the ship and start enjoying our very first DISNEY cruise :D . Any advice or info. would be GREATLY appreciated.

The earliest you can actually board the ship is 12 noon. Not sure when you can register to preboard. ( They called sections at a time to board when we were there last month.). We didnt get to the port until 1145 and we had board number 13) I am guessing guests arrived around 1030 or so, there was quite a crowd there.

 

The rooms were not open until 1:30. All the hallways were blocked until then. There were two buffets open when we got on the ship and the pools were open. ( take swimsuits in a carry on bag.)

We stay at the Radisson and get their 10:00 shuttle. On my three cruises they started boarding at 11:45, were on before noon.

We arrived at port around 12:15 and were immediately able to board with no line.
