Which Airport for Colon Port?

Thinking about booking a cruise out of Colon, Panana for Jan 09. Which airport would we use and any recommendations on shuttle or transport from airport to ship. Will be sailing on Royal Caribbean.

You fly into Panama City. This might be one of the times when it is best to use cruiseline transfers (can be booked even if you don't use cruise air).

Actually the RCCL cruise that leaves from Colon will not provide transfers unless you book the air.

You really don't want to stay in Colon. They are building what our guide said was going to be either or Radisson or a Sheraton at the port village but Colon is very much a slum for lack of a better term. I would think you could stay in Panama City and take some kind of transportation to the ship - it is not very far from one side of the country to the other.
