what is typical weather mid december

HI I will be in GC mid december and was wondering what the weather will be like than. I would like to hear your experience. Also was it beach weather? thanks

I was there last Tues and it was a beautiful sunny warm day. I don't know the exact temperature but it had to be in the 80's. Great beach weather. It sure beat this snowy/rainy weather we're getting in Ohio right now. Take me back with you!

The best way to describe it is, "changeable."

 

Beautiful blue sky one day with flat calm seas then overcast and windy with 6-8ft seas and rain the next.

 

The fact it was good a couple of days ago means nothing.

 

Where I live you can see the cruise ships emerging out of solid walls of rain at times.

 

But it is warm and a lot nicer than you are getting in most of the USA right now.

I am noticing that there are several different times available to us for Stingray City tours.....I'm wondering if it's best to choose the early morning times, or the mid morning times. When is it more apt to rain? I think the choices are 8:30, 9:30, or 11:15. Which would be best? We'll be in Grand Cayman on January 22nd.....can't wait!
