AZDCruiser Posted December 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2007 I don't remember the currency conversion questions on my cruise docs for the last RCI cruise I went on. I was filling out my forms -- the credit card to put my charges on -- and it has two questions having to do with how I prefer the currency to be converted. I don't really understand them...call me dumb! Anyone know the best route to take? Thanks in advance! (6 more days..........aggghhh!!! :p )
alicam Posted December 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2007 You're American right???...you don't need to worry about it, but I do (from a Canadian)
FitzLA Posted December 3, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 3, 2007 You will not need your credit card charges converted to anything. They will automatically charge you in u.s. dollars. It is for people from outside the u.s. incase they want their charges charged in their home currency.
dirtgirl Posted December 3, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 3, 2007 You are lucky - you are American, so they won't rip you off in the currency conversion that you didn't want.
AZDCruiser Posted December 3, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted December 3, 2007 Thanks everyone! Yes, I am American. I was just trying to go the best route as not to be "ripped off."
