Carnival Valor balcony cabin aft

Going on the Valor for a 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise. We have 2 cabins at the rear of the ship (6487 & 6489) on the Upper deck. Anyone ever stayed there? Any problems being over the Promenade deck (Eagles lounge)? Wanted the larger balcony but if the noise from the lounge is very bad, will change.

We have stayed on this deck on Liberty, Victory, Destiny and did not get any noise from the lounge below.

 

We prefer our cabins closest to the waters- now if you are early to be type of people-- say between 9-10pm then you will get the noise.

The lounge starts with music about 9pm but its over before midnight.

 

In the hall we heard thumps from the bass but not in the cabins.

Your cabin is over the seating area--not the band section.

 

You are aware that the aft cabins do not get ocean breezes like the side- keep the curtains closed during the day to keep the cabin cool.
