baby Posted December 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2007 what is express debarkation?
IBsaved Posted December 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2007 Express debarkation is when you can get off the ship at anytime but you have to take your own luggage with you. You do not need to get the luggage tags on the last night. They give you a form to fill out if you want to do your own debarkation on the second to last night to be turned in on the last day of sailing. It worked great for us as we had a 9:30AM flight in Barcelona. The ship docked at 5AM and we were off the ship by 6AM. Hope this helps!

garycarla Posted December 5, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 5, 2007 Excuse the poster for not being EXACT. You can get off anytime that the ship is ready to let people get off. Which of course is after clearance. And after they tell you that you can leave, and after all the people in FRONT of you get off. By the way, you are not gonna get off at 6am in the states... seaspam25 Posted December 5, 2007 #6 Share Posted December 5, 2007 immigration must clear the ship first, then customs. once a ship docks in miami, it is up to them to clear the ship .. not NCL! sit back, relax and listen to the cruise director. Julie on the Jewel is amazing! debark talk was informative and it took me 20 minutes to get off the ship into a cab. GREAT!
