Does anyone know a Private Tour or Website for a 1 day tour in Singapore?

www.visitsingapore.com is a great site that will give you comprehensiove guide to tours, dining, shopping etc. I useed it as a resourse before our trip to Singapore.

If your stay is in a Hotel they all have a small desk offering a wide range of tours day & night which can be booked literally an hour or so in advance.

If it were me I would not bother till you arrive there & what normally happens is they pick you up in a small van & bus you to the tour coach pick up point & then van you back to the hotel at the end. There are a wide range of trips to cater for all tastes & the evening ones are definitely worth looking at. It's a great City so make the most of it.

Thanks for the suggestions. We will be arriving morning by cruiseship & have a departing flight to the US at 11:30 pm same day, so we won't be at a hotel. We will want to drop luggage & check in if possible 1st, then tour. I'll check out these options.

We just returned from 16 day Asia cruise on Sapphire Princess. We did not take any tours off of the ship. We pre-planned with private tours and saw so much.

 

For Singapore we had a private bus for only 3 adults with a driver and this guide. She was excellent. We had an extensive tour.

Yes, we did stop in Hong Kong and we did arrange a private tour guide.

 

She works independently and is a member of the Hong Kong Assoc. of Registered Tour Co-ordinators. We had a 16 seat bus, all to ourselves, and she had a driver. She also did a wonderful job and highly recommend her. Her email address is IRENEYYCHENG@HUTCHCITY.COM.
