Jay Bee Posted December 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2007 i have heard that there are some issues regarding AC in certain sections of the ship. What I would like to know beyond this is whether the AC problems are going to be around until the electrical distribution thing is fixed in (hopefully) mid to late January. Jrsygrl Posted December 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2007 I thought I read on another CC thread that the problem would not be fixed until June....I'll have to go back and find that thread! As for the AC...I believe the problem is with the newer section.
Jay Bee Posted December 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 7, 2007 I thought I read on another CC thread that the problem would not be fixed until June....I'll have to go back and find that thread! I saw posts saying March, June, and January. It seemed to me that the most reliable would be the report that came from a Q&A with the captain in this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=671619
Groovymom Posted December 8, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 8, 2007 We just came back from our cruise Dec 1 and had room 3025. We had no problems with the air conditioning. We were a group of 21 scattered on the 3rd, 2nd and 7th floor and everyones air was working fine. Hope you have a fun time.

Looking at the current decks plan and comparing it to a prestretch one, the D1 cabins (8068 to 8082, 8568 to 8582 plus the six inside in between) on deck 8 outlines the new section. For other decks use the last three digits of these outside D1 cabins to determine the outside cabins in the new section. Inside new cabins are the ones in between these outside cabins. Tabby98 Posted December 9, 2007 #8 Share Posted December 9, 2007 Hehe, you have lost me with the whole Inside, outside, last three digit thing... I'm blonde  We are in Deck 3 room 3110. Is the new? could we have problems with the AC? Tab
maggimus Posted December 9, 2007 #9 Share Posted December 9, 2007 Just got back from the 12/1-12/6 sailing. I was in deck 3 (3600) and had friends on the 8th. No problems for any of us. We had no issues with electrical anywhere (dining room, casino, orpheum theater, spotlight lounge-- no where). GL!
robtulipe Posted December 10, 2007 #10 Share Posted December 10, 2007 Hehe, you have lost me with the whole Inside, outside, last three digit thing... I'm blonde  We are in Deck 3 room 3110. Is the new? could we have problems with the AC? Tab I like blondes, DW is one. Cabin 3110 is in the old section. On deck 3, cabins 3068 to 3082 on the port (left) side and 3568 to 3582 on the starboard (right) side and all the inside cabins (3075 to 3081, 3569 to 3583, 3877 to 3881) between these outside cabins are in the new section. You can do this on all decks to determine what cabins are in the new section. The outside cabins marks the two opposite sides of a rectangle, draw a line across the ship between the bow (front of ship) outside corner of cabin 3068 across to the same outside corner on cabin 3568 and a second line across the ship from the aft (stern or back of ship) outside corner of cabin 3082 to the same outside corner on cabin 3582. Any cabins inside these two lines will be in the new section. Wait a minute, you are blonde right. I like blondes, DW is one. I better send you a picture of what I mean. I like blondes, DW is one. He He Wow going by that, I was two cabins away from the new cabins!! I saw the new ones, they are nice. There is not that much different but the bathrooms are nicer. They have nice tile and a shower door instead of the curtain. Also the sink is flat along the left wall as you walk in whereas in the old part the sink is in the back left corner. doxiegal Posted December 11, 2007 #12 Share Posted December 11, 2007 We just came off Enchantment of the seas. 11-26 thru dec 2nd. We were in 2141. on the 2nd deck. Our air would not turn off or down. Our room was a icebox the entire cruise. I would say approx 65 degrees. It really sucked.
