Charleston - Alternatives to parking at the port?

I know some hotels offer free parking for the duration of the cruise if you stay with them pre-cruise or post-cruise, but are there other parking alternatives other than the $120 at the port? We'll be driving to Charleston on Saturday morning.

None that we found but we stayed at the Springhill Suites and they were going to let us leave our van parked there but would not guarentee safety. I would pay the money where I know my vehicle is going to be in an enclosed area and security is part of the fee.

Did the Springhill Suites offer complimentary shuttle service to the cruise terminal?

We stayed at the Springhill Suites and they allowed us to leave our car in the enclosed parking. We took a shuttle to the ship - about $10 pp.
