Snorkeling equipment advice needed

Try costco, they have great snorkling sets there. $52.00 cdn

we bought our 2 kids 17 &14 sets last year for when we went to cuba. My hubby and i just bought ourselves a set for our upcoming cruise.

it looks like both sets are very similar the most important is " the snorkel's dry top closes when submerged."

That's a good price. The issue with buying on line is you don't know if the mask will fit properly or not. If you have a "normal" face, whatever that is, then things will be fine. I prefer to pay a bit more and buy my mask at a local dive shop where I can try on a wide assortment and chose the one that fits the best. I can deal with a leaky snorkel or fins a bit tight but a mask that fills up everytime I put my face in the water would be considered a "deal breaker".

The Sport Chalet store that has them on sale is near my home, so I will be able to try it out to make sure it fits properly. If it doesn't work out, I will go visit a local dive shop. As far as I know, I do have a "normal" face. :D
