Fuerte Amador, Panama and a one hour stop?

Hi there, we are on the Radiance from Fort Lauderdale through the canal to South America next November. On the schedule it shows a one hour stop in Fuerte Amador. Have I read that right, is this more just refuelling stop or do they really let people off the ship, as I have noticed that they do advertise on their website etc that you can get off and wander round. Just sounds odd to me, a one hour stop where they let you off.

Wondering if anybody had any thoughts on this.

Cheers

Pete

On full transits there are generally no excursions in Panama, so they aren't picking anyone up. We had a lot of speculation on our Roll Call about that 1 hour stop. We believe now it was a refueling/restocking stop. And it doesn't matter anyway because they cancelled it. And apparently RCCL usually cancels it. :)
