Question Re: Conquest room assignment

So...I have not received any docs yet, but I now see a deck assignment and a room number on the Book Modify page on Carnival's site. I originally had a Gar IS.....it now shows Category 4C Deck Upper Cabin 6233.

 

So, a slight upgrade, no dissapointment, I mean after all...I"M GOING ON A CRUISE!!!!!

 

My question is, is this room in the front or rear of the ship? Is is convienent to things such as laundry rooms or is this a heavy traffic area? And finally, even though this room shows now, is there even the slightest chance of an OV upgrade at the dock?:rolleyes:

From the deck plan on the Carnival site it is forward and on the starboard side.

For the non-nautical types - that's towards the front on the right side of the ship.

 

We love the Upper deck - we even booked the same cabin as last time 6335 - the Upper deck is so convenient to so many things - you will love it.
