VirginCruiser II Posted December 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2007 Hi Looking to book a private tour in St Lucia. Wondered about the time of the last tender T The last tender on our recent trip was 3.30 I believe. The QM2 sailed at 4.00. St Lucia really was, for us, the best island of the cruise. We used Cosul, check out his website - everybody raves about them, they are so good. It is a family run company running three new 10 seater air conditioned buses which are never full. He meets you at 8.30 and ensures that you are back at the ship in plenty of time. This tour costs just $50 per person and is about six hours. Tremendous value for money, we really can't recommend Cosul more highly and will most definitely do this tour again when we are back in St Lucia. emileg Posted December 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2007 In most ports and on most ships, the last tender is a half hour before sailing. Also when docked, the cruise line requests passengers return to the pier a half hour before sailing. However, if there is a line to board the ship, they don't deny you entry at the half hour mark. The line's port representative is usually listed on the port information sheet the ship provides you the night before. Good idea to take this info with you. If you are running late, the port representative will help you.
jccruiser Posted December 14, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 14, 2007 we are also booked with Cosol for 3 Jan sailing - I notice the Maasdam is sailing at 3pm, so she has an even tighter schedule than we do. I'm really looking forward to the tour after reading all the wonderful reviews about Cosol:)
