Tip Tour Guide?

My parents are doing a tour with Joyce Prince on their cruise. Should they give her a tip on top of the fee she quoted for the 1/2 day tour?

I think it depends on if her tour was good or not. When we did a private tour in St Thomas we tipped the guide, but that was because we thought he had given us an exceptional service, that exceeded our expecations. It comes down to your personal expectations of the tour itself.
