ddcruiser Posted December 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2007 Has anyone taken a good half day tour of Hobart and surrounding areas? Would appreciate any names, hints as to what to see. Many thanks, DD cruiser:)
Aussie Gal Posted December 17, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2007 Hobart is an easy city to walk around. If you want to be driven around, there is a hop on hop off bus that departs from the wharf and will take you right around. There is also a half day tour that you can take that will show you Mt. Wellington. Everything you need is right there where you dock. Jennie

cruisecruzer Posted January 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2008 Hi, Would this also be close to Port Arthur that I can walk to ?
Aussie Gal Posted January 14, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2008 cruisecruzer, Port Arthur is a good hours drive down the peninsula from Hobart and no hop on hop off buses go there. The only way you can get there is by taking a tour or driving yourself there. There is no public transport to this area. Jennie

One of the highlights of our trip.:) Has anyone taken a good half day tour of Hobart and surrounding areas? Would appreciate any names, hints as to what to see.
