Disneycruiser#1 Posted April 27, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2004 I can help you with choices in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Playa, Costa Maya, Belize you name it BUT I need help with choices for my sons who are only 6 and 3 for a last minute cruise which stops in Freeport and Nassau. The ships excursions which are Blue Lagoon (Nassau) and Pirates Beach Break (Freeport) will cost us almost $300 and they charge for the 2.5 year old. Not sure if we should try and take a taxi to Cable Beach in Nassa and if they "let" cruisers use or rent chairs and use the restrooms and beach and in Freeport see if we can do the same at the Sheraton or Westin. We need a calm beach, restrooms and somewhere to get cold drinks and snacks in Freeport and Nassau
NJBill Posted May 10, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2004 We went to Nassau last year on the Disney Wonder. My kids were 6,6,8 at the time. We did venture too far from Port, but we did take a horse/carriage ride around the town for about $30. The kids got a kick out of it. We did a little shopping, and went back to the ship. Not much in Nassau for kids unless you do a dolphin swim or excursion.
