Snorkel2Much Posted December 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2007 Hi all- we will be in GC on Mar.4th and we would like any opinions on where to both snorkel/dive and a nice beach. We've done Royal beach twice, but would like to try others.Sea Grape seems too far since we only have 9 hours in port...any suggestions would be welcome...Thanks, Big Al We'll be there March 3rd. We're planning on skipping the crowds on 7MB and heading north to the "No Amenities" quiet of Cemetery Beach. "Cemetery Reef" is a different spot in the other direction. There are some good maps here: http://www.caymanlandinfo.ky/imagemapfiles/gcindex.htm Also there is a sticky thread at the top of this forum that I found helpful: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=449552
KnotAMole Posted December 21, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 21, 2007 Cemetery Beach/Reef is farther from town than Seagrape. There are some pictures from Cemetery Beach/Reef on Zydecocruiser's website. http://www.zydecocruiser.com/conquest_07/GC/gc2.htm http://www.zydecocruiser.com/conquest_07/GC/gc3.htm
spaghetti Posted December 26, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 26, 2007 There has been mention that Cemetery Beach has no services. Does this just mean that there is no restaurant or store? Are there restrooms?
