CB Dining Rooms open for lunch?

I've seen around that possibly the dining room(s) are open for lunch on embarkation day and port days on the CB. Does anyone have confirmation of this and/or done it? We would love to go to the dining rooms rather the crowded buffet which is usually where everyone heads as soon as they get on the ship. I've checked the main CB site which is wonderful but no dinning room lunch menus - anybody else have copies of them for us to dream about? (or evening dessert menus ;o) )

No rhyme or reason to this, you just have to go to the dining rooms and see as they don't advertise it.

We try to go for lunch on every Embarkation day. For the most part we have been lucky. :)

Not sure about embarkation day....we never checked it out. They are definitely opened on port and sea days. They will post in the patter which dining room is open for lunch. We too like to have lunch in the dining room rather than buffet.

I have never lucked out with lunch on embarkation day in the dining room. We do however eat lunch as often as possible in the dining room. It is so much nicer and relaxing.
